Roger Huddle

Roger Huddle

“We saw the importance of not just the music, but the colour, the badges, the slogans, the banners, the newspaper, the sense of freedom, the sense of anarchy, the sense of a fight not just about racism, but against the system itself.”

Roger was working in the SWP print shop when he became a  founding member of Rock Against Racism, and helped organised their famous 1978 Carnival Against the Nazis in
Victoria Park. He has since worked with Unite Against Fascism to oppose the English
Defence League in Waltham Forest.
