Lucy Whitman created her own feminist and anti-fascist punk fanzine ‘JOLT’ whilst at University in 1977. She then wrote regularly for the pioneering feminist magazine ‘Spare Rib’ and for ‘Temporary Hoarding’ – the magazine of Rock Against Racism. She later worked for many years at Amnesty International UK.
